Built in Africa, for Africa
Why we exist
Make every African event accessible through technology that is fast, reliable, and genuinely affordable.
Become the trusted infrastructure behind every kind of gathering—from intimate community shows to major festivals.
The spark
One sold-out Afrobeats show in Nairobi—and a queue full of fans holding unreliable paper tickets.
Our story
Afreeket began in 2021 after our founders watched fans outside a Nairobi concert navigate fake tickets, inflated resale prices, and long, uncertain queues. The problem was bigger than one show.
Across the continent, organisers were still piecing together ticket sales through cash, messages, spreadsheets, and systems never designed for their reality. Guests deserved confidence. Organisers deserved control.
So we built a platform around how Africa actually moves: mobile-first payments, instant QR delivery, dependable gate scanning, and real-time insight for every organiser.
Today, every ticket we issue is a small promise: your place in the moment is secure.
Our journey
2021
Founded at Nairobi's iHub by a team of four.
2022
Launched in Kenya and helped 100 events welcome their guests.
2023
Expanded across East Africa and passed 200,000 tickets.
2024
Entered Ghana and Nigeria, taking Afreeket further west.
Today
Building the event infrastructure a continent can rely on.
How we work
Our values show up in the practical choices we make—for organisers preparing a venue and guests arriving at the gate.
We protect every payment, verify every ticket, and build dependable tools for organisers and guests.
From checkout to check-in, every interaction should feel fast, clear, and effortless on any device.
We design for local payments, real connectivity constraints, and the diversity of Africa's event culture.
Technology is only the bridge. The real outcome is a room, stadium, or field full of shared moments.
